What is the facility Manager’s Association? It is a group that consists of facility managers and business administrators who work for a church or religious organization. The primary focus is to get professionals together to network and use past experiences to help each other. Who should attend? If you are a Facility Manager or have facilities report to you, this association will be of great value to you. The association was not formed for any religious denomination, but rather for religious facilities. We also have several religious schools as part of the group. Corporate Cleaning group started our first Facility Managers association in 2005 in Kansas City Missouri. It started with a group of 10 to 12 church facility managers. We now have a list of 150 religious facilities that are part of that Kansas City group. In addition to Kansas City there are currently Corporate Cleaning Group FMA Chapters in Springfield Missouri, Michigan, Colorado, North Carolina, Texas and Georgia. Simply your time. Corporate Cleaning Group incurs all the costs to make it easier for Facility Managers to attend. We meet quarterly at a member facility. Each meeting covers a topic for each that applies to religious facilities. Many times we have had the host of the facility speak, and other times we have had a guest speaker. The meetings are typically from 11:00am – 1:00pm. We have lunch and a time of fellowship, and then our speaker talks for about 20 minutes. We have a short question-and-answer session followed by a facility tour. Here are a few topics that we have covered in the past:
Email List Another valuable component of the association is the e-mail list. When you are added to the e-mail list, you have the ability to e-mail the group’s members and ask them questions. Normally, a question gets ten to fifteen responses. Even if it is not your question, the responses can be useful to you. So it’s a great benefit to be on the list. How does the association benefit Corporate Cleaning Group? Corporate Cleaning Group was asked by several of our customers to put this group together. You are not required to be a customer of Corporate Cleaning Group, and there is no sales pressure. This service is provided to all local religious facilities at no cost. How do you join? If you are receiving this introduction you have most likely had contact and conversation with a CCG representative and have been added to the FMA listing. If you have questions or to ensure that you have been placed on the member list Simply contact us. We will send you notices of all meetings. |
